For how easy it is to make & I’ll just make it now.
2 cups of flour, 1 tea spoon salt. Whisk. 3 eggs & 1 table spoon olive oil in the middle & mix, then once you can’t mix it, knead the dough. Roll in ball, wrap in plastic wrap & rest at room temp for a 1/2hr. Then it’s good for a few days in the fridge.

Making pasta dough is easy, but r olling/ cutting it is a pain in the ass! Do you use a pasta machine of some sort, or just cut your noodles by hand?

I make my own sandwich bread, it’s really easy
. If you have a stand mixer with a dough hook it’s zero effort
. I use this recipe:

It’s such a simple recipe, you can easily adapt to your tastes. My go-to version is made with 1/3 whole wheat flour, olive oil instead of butter, and 5 tablespoons of mixed grains (flax, hemp, chia).
And i f you like more salt, you can add a lot . I made this recipe with 3 x the salt by accident (2 tbsp instead of 2 tsp) and it was fine.

Either you or Google Translate didn’t quite get “Canuck” correctly. Or...there’s no Yiddish word for “Canuck.”

I’m the same with soft pretzels now. I made a batch this weekend. Super easy, tastes better, and cheap!

It’s what you would expect in the Romanization, so I’m guessing the problem is just that it translates from Yiddish to English (but obviously not from English to Yiddish) .

It's an old chef thing. They are too drunk to find the roller, so use the wine bottle they are drinking from.
